Sand totally counts as a crafting medium, so you know.

(great skill but poor choise of subject)- Katherine Says:
December 16th, 2009 at 12:02 amSeriously absurd skills… The question being why couldn’t he have used them to sculpt something pleasant?

December 16th, 2009 at 12:56 amNo offense (ok i dont really care)
but you guys are seriously retarded. How is this a craftastrophe? Poor subject? Something pleasant? Compared to the horrors of everything else on this blog, this is heaven, and nowhere near what a craftastrophe is supposed to be.
The guy’s got mad talent, which you do acknowledge, but still knock it because he didn’t sculpt butterflies and pansies. Something’s wrong with you.
All’s written in good intention.Karen Sugarpants Reply:
December 16th, 2009 at 1:22 amOkay, not that you’ll get this because you used a fake email BUT:
a) it’s under the category: “Not a Craftastrophe, but Cool Enough to Rate High,” meaning, we often post things that we think are intriguing and neato. Deal with it.
b) Don’t come over to our blog and use the word retarded in that way. We don’t take to kindly to the derogatory use of that word. Ever.
c) Don’t come back.

December 17th, 2009 at 5:21 amLooks awesome, I’m impressed he put on that kind of detail on that scale without the sand crumbling away. Was this to promote that Dante’s Inferno game?

December 18th, 2009 at 1:47 amAmazingly talented! There is a “world famous” sand sculpture competition nearby every year, but something this dark would (sadly) never fly.
So cool!

Sandcastles are usually the stuff made of dreams. Turrets, bridges, princesses and drinks with umbrellas—that’s what you think of when you think of sandcastles. Unless, of course, you’ve created Sandlistaverk, perhaps the scariest f-ing sandcastle ever created.
Demons and dragons are what this sandcastle nightmare is made of. Check out the photo gallery; you’ll never think of sandcastles in the same way again.
